There is no doubt that precious metals have been one of the best investment options over the last few years. The stock market, bonds, and even real estate have paled in comparison to the returns that precious metals have generated for their investors.
However, the increasing prices of precious metals may have made some potential investors feel as if they have been priced out of the market. It is generally an industry norm that smaller purchases of bullion are accompanied by higher fees.
The Northwest Territorial Mint Monthly Accumulation Program puts you in the driver’s seat to affordable precious metals ownership by allowing you to make smaller more manageable monthly purchases, and still receive discounted bulk pricing.
The program is simple and straightforward.
- When you enroll in the Monthly Accumulation Program, you will be able to select a specific number of bullion pieces (e.g. 5 NWT Mint silver rounds), or a specific dollar amount of bullion1 (e.g. $200) you would like to purchase on a predetermined day of the month you choose (e.g. 1st of every month). Pick a product and an amount that is right for you.
- Once enrolled in the program, Northwest Territorial Mint will make monthly purchases on your behalf and will either debit your account or send an invoice to be paid upon receipt. You then select your payment option — personal check, cashier's check, money order, or debit/credit card.2 Spot pricing for MAP purchases will be based upon the London Bullion Market Association Silver Fix on the day of your purchase.
- Once you have accumulated enough bullion to meet our minimum shipping requirement, we will ship your order for free.3 If however you do not meet our minimum shipping requirement and want shipping after each purchase a shipping fee will be applied to your purchase. If your purchase doesn’t meet our free shipping requirements — no problem. We will hold shipment until you’ve accumulated enough metal to receive free shipping.

2. Higher fees apply when making debit/credit card purchases.
3. Northwest Territorial Mint applies a shipping, handling, and insurance charge to all orders that do not meet our minimum shipping requirement. At your option, we will hold your metal until you have reached the minimum to avoid these fees.
